BYD India Launches EV INNOVATE-A-THON for Engineering Students
BYD India introduces EV INNOVATE-A-THON for engineering students, featuring a three-stage contest with prizes including an educational visit to BYD's Shenzhen headquarters for winners.
BYD India has put forward a new competition called EV INNOVATE-A-THON, collaborating with the Automotive Skill Development Council (ASDC). The BYD EV INNOVATE-A-THON aims to stimulate creativity and eco-friendly solutions among engineering students across India. The BYD EV INNOVATE-A-THON, available to selected educational institutions, will guide participants through a three-phase process to develop groundbreaking ideas in the electric vehicle sector, concluding with the creation and showcase of prototypes.
The EV INNOVATE-A-THON consists of:
- An initial web-based knowledge assessment
- A virtual design phase
- A tangible prototype development and marketing pitch stage
The BYD EV INNOVATE-A-THON is designed to enhance abilities, spark innovation, and encourage collaboration in the EV industry. Winning teams will receive substantial rewards, with the top performers earning a week-long educational trip to BYD's main facility in Shenzhen, China. This prize includes interactions with BYD's research team and monetary support to bring their sustainable tech concepts to life. Teams in second and third place will win cash and trophies.
