Citroen C3 Aircross is Now Citroen Aircross with Updated Features and Price

In this festive season Citroen has officially revealed the price of the revamped C3 Aircross, the company's first small SUV in India. The base form of the updated model, which competes with suvs like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, starts at ₹8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings have started on September 30 and this discount is valid for a short time only. On October 8, deliveries are going to start.

Updated Citroen C3 Aircross Launch

The Citroen C3 Aircross was initially launched in September of last year with a starting price of ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It holds the distinction of being the first compact SUV in India to offer both five-seater and seven-seater configurations, featuring removable third-row seats for flexibility. With the latest update, Citroen has introduced design tweaks, feature enhancements, and a new engine variant.

Engine and Performance Updates

In addition to the existing 1.2-litre 110 turbo-petrol engine, the updated C3 Aircross will now offer a 1.2-litre Puretech 82 engine. This new engine produces 105 bhp of power and 205 Nm of torque, slightly less than the 110 turbo-petrol version, which generates 109 bhp. Buyers can choose from three transmission options: a five-speed manual, a six-speed manual, and a six-speed automatic.

Feature Update

The C3 Aircross has received several feature upgrades, including:

• LED projector headlights
• Grab handles for front passengers
• Soft-touch instrument panel
• Power-folding ORVMs
• Automatic climate control
• Rear AC vents

These additions are aimed at enhancing the comfort and convenience of both drivers and passengers.

Safety Features

Safety is a priority in the updated C3 Aircross, with the SUV now offering more than 40 safety features. Highlights include:

• Six airbags
• ISOFIX child seat anchors
• Electronic Stability Program (ESP)
• Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
• Hill-Hold Assist

These upgrades position the C3 Aircross as a strong contender in the compact SUV market, providing enhanced safety and performance.
