With bookings opening in September and deliveries starting in October, this family-oriented SUV boasts a unique five-two seating configuration and segment-leading cabin space.

The eagerly awaited Citroen C3 Aircross SUV is gearing up for its official debut in the Indian car market, with the launch scheduled around the festive season.
In preparation for the launch, Citroen has announced that bookings for the C3 Aircross will open in September, creating a buzz among car enthusiasts. The company has also confirmed that deliveries of the SUV will commence in October, signalling its strong commitment to the Indian market.
Citroen made its entry into the Indian market in 2019 and made waves with the launch of its first model, the C5 Aircross SUV, in 2021. Subsequent years saw the introduction of the C3 hatchback and the all-electric eC3 in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
However, the French automaker is now placing a significant bet on the C3 Aircross, as it ventures into the fiercely competitive mid-size SUV segment in one of the world's largest vehicle markets. India, currently ranking third globally behind China and the US, has become the focal point for the Stellantis Group, of which Citroen is a part.
The Citroen C3 Aircross was unveiled in April this year, showcasing its unique proposition in the segment by offering a five-two seating configuration. This configuration allows the two seats in the third row to be easily removed and stored, resulting in an expansive cargo area of over 500 litres, setting a new benchmark in the segment. Customers who opt for the five-seat configuration will still enjoy the spacious cargo area that the SUV has to offer.
Positioned as a family SUV prioritizing comfort, value, and robust driving characteristics, the C3 Aircross boasts segment-leading cabin space for occupants. Inside the cabin, it features a 10.2-inch main infotainment screen, a seven-inch driver display unit, and roof-mounted AC vents, among other highlights, enhancing the overall driving experience.
The exterior design of the C3 Aircross exudes a muscular profile, highlighted by its split headlamp setup, faux skid plates, 17-inch alloy wheels, and roof rails. The SUV will be available in numerous single and dual-tone hues, allowing customers to personalize their vehicles with various customization packs and dashboard color schemes.
An interesting aspect of the Citroen C3 Aircross is its uniform powertrain offering. All variants of the SUV will be equipped with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol motor paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. This engine, also found in the C3 model, delivers a power output of 108 bhp and torque numbers of 190 Nm.
With the upcoming launch of the Citroen C3 Aircross, the French automaker is primed to make a significant impact in India's mid-size SUV segment. Its versatile seating configuration, spacious cabin, and extensive features make it a strong contender in the highly competitive market. As the official debut approaches, car enthusiasts eagerly await the opportunity to experience the Citroen C3 Aircross on Indian roads.
