Tata Punch EV deliveries start nationwide, expanding Tata's electric portfolio with stylish design, versatile variants, and impressive range options.

Deliveries of Tata Punch EV Starts Across India

Tata Motors has officially started deliveries of its latest electric offering, the Tata Punch EV, across India. This marks a significant step in the company's electric mobility journey and follows the success of its earlier electric SUV, the Nexon EV. Launched just a few days ago, the Punch EV is set to make waves in the Indian electric vehicle market with its competitive pricing and an array of features.

Tata Punch EV: Expanding the Electric Portfolio:

The Tata Punch EV, positioned as the second electric SUV from the homegrown automaker, builds upon the success of the Nexon EV. Priced between ₹10.99 lakh and ₹14.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the SUV comes in both Standard and Long Range options, catering to different customer preferences. However, buyers are advised to make their purchases before the 1st of February 2024, as Tata Motors has announced a 0.7 per cent price hike across its entire passenger vehicle range, including both electric and internal combustion models.

Variants and Range Options:

The Punch EV offers customers a choice between five variants: Smart, Smart+, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+. While the Smart and Smart+ are exclusively available in the Standard option, the latter three variants can be chosen in both Standard and Long Range configurations. The two battery pack options, 25 kWh and 35 kWh, promise impressive ranges of 315 km and 421 km on a single charge, respectively.

Deliveries of Tata Punch EV Starts Across India

The Tata Punch EV marks several milestones for the homegrown automaker. It is not only the company's second electric SUV but also the fourth all-electric car in its portfolio, joining the ranks of the Tiago EV, Tigor EV, and the highly successful Nexon EV. Furthermore, the Punch EV is the maiden vehicle from Tata Motors to utilize the acti.ev pure electric architecture, a modular platform designed to accommodate various electric vehicles across different body styles.

Design and Features:

In terms of design, the Punch EV retains the distinctive styling of its Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) counterpart. However, being an electric vehicle, it introduces unique design elements that set it apart. The top-end variant, Empowered+, boasts an extensive list of features, including a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, air purifier, ventilated front seats, auto-dimming IRVM, and more.
