A standout feature is the new rectangular grille extending across the front, complemented by a full-width LED DRL with an inverted 'L'-shaped trademark. The square-shaped LED headlights and a muscular front bumper with abundant cladding contribute to the SUV's bold and contemporary appearance.

The existing 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 115PS and 143.8 Nm of torque alongside with a 1.5-liter turbo diesel unit delivering 116PS and 250Nm of torque. Transmission options are likely to include a six-speed manual, a six-speed automatic, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, a six-speed iMT, and a CVT automatic.
