Branded as “The Call of the Blue Track Day Activity”, the event gave everyday R15 and MT-15 riders a rare chance to taste trackcraft under expert supervision, trading traffic lights for apexes and lean angles. From detailed pre-ride briefings to guided sessions on the circuit, the focus stayed firmly on safety, confidence, and pure riding fun for riders across NCR.

Yamaha Motor India Pvt Ltd hosted an electrifying Track Day experience for its customers at the F9 Go Karting Track in Sector 68, a dedicated karting circuit that has become a hub for high-adrenaline motorsport in Delhi-NCR. The Gurugram leg saw enthusiastic participation from over 400 Yamaha fans and more than 200 Yamaha owners from across Gurugram and neighbouring NCR cities.

From the moment the gates opened, the paddock-style venue buzzed with the sounds of revving engines, animated rider briefings, and riders suiting up for their sessions. The atmosphere blended the excitement of a race weekend with the inclusivity of a community ride, making the track feel accessible even to first-time participants.

From masterclass to first Apex

Before anyone headed out on track, Yamaha’s instructors put riders through an in-depth pre-ride session designed to demystify track riding and build confidence step by step. The briefing covered fundamentals such as ideal racing lines, body positioning, lean angles, throttle modulation, and progressive braking, giving riders a clear mental picture before they rolled onto the circuit.

This “learn first, then push” structure mirrors Yamaha’s broader Track Day format in India, where formal classroom-style sessions are followed by carefully marshalled track time under expert supervision. The approach ensures that while riders experience a genuine circuit environment, they do so with a clear understanding of technique and safety rather than simply chasing speed.

A line-up built for excitement

Underpinning these experiences is Yamaha’s growing portfolio of performance-focused motorcycles and scooters for the Indian market. At the heart of the brand’s sporty identity are the 155 cc machines: the neo-retro XSR155, track-bred YZF-R15 V4, accessible YZF-R15S V3, and the agile MT-15 V2, all engineered to deliver high-revving performance with everyday usability.

Complementing them is the popular 149 cc FZ family, including the FZS-Fi Hybrid, FZS-Fi, the new FZ Rave, and the FZ-X range available in both standard and Hybrid variants—each tuned to blend strong low-end torque with urban comfort. On the maxi-scooter side, the AEROX Version S and AEROX 155 bring race-inspired styling and performance to riders who prefer the convenience of a scooter.

Yamaha’s hybrid scooter line-up—Fascino 125 FI Hybrid, Ray ZR 125 FI Hybrid, and Ray ZR Street Rally 125 FI Hybrid—caters to riders seeking a mix of efficiency, pep, and distinctive style in city conditions. Rounding out the portfolio is the EC-06 EV model, reflecting Yamaha’s forward-looking approach as India’s two-wheeler market gradually embraces electrification.
