Gogoro, the global tech leader which has its name in providing sustainable mobility solutions and battery swap tech, has revealed the CrossOver Electric Smart Scooter range in India. Moreover, the company's first electric smart scooter CrossOver GX250 will be made in India, a commendable initiative by the brand Gogoro.

The company is all set to launch its CrossOver series in the B2B market of Pune and Mumbai in the Q1 of 2024. Currently the company is making the e-scooters available only in the B2B market of Goa and Delhi. Consumer availability of Gogoro CrossOver can be expected in the Q2 of 2024.

With more seating space, spacious storage capacity and perfect ground clearance of 176mm, Gogoro has unleashed 3 variants of CrossOver in the India Market. Let's get to know more about the CrossOver series and what is being provided to the Indian riders by the brand Gogoro.

 

CrossOver Series:

 

Gogoro had made news by unveiling its three variants of CrossOver Series namely, 

 

  • CrossOver GX250
  • CrossOver 5O 
  • CrossOver S

 

It needs to be mentioned that the e-scooters will be manufactured in Maharashtra in the manufacturing unit of the company in Aurangabad. Moreover, CrossOver GX250 is already available for the B2B market, but for CrossOver 50 and CrossOver S, one needs to wait till the end of first half of the year 2024.

CrossOver GX250 

 

The unveiling event of Gogoro has already made it clear that the ICAT certified CrossOver GX250 has been manufactured by keeping the needs and requests of the India Customers.  The CrossOver GX250 has been designed and built in a way that it can bear any road condition and provide a comfortable and smooth riding experience to its owner. 

 

With a new all-terrain frame, which has a ground clearance of 176mm, the e-scooter the scooter has better strength and stability. The frame of 176 mm is noticeable as it is the highest number in the current lineup of Gogoro. The frame design has also increased the limit of carrying heavier load and durability of suspension. 

 

With a Direct Drive of 2.5 kW the GX250 can reach above the 60 kph of top speed and can cover a range of 111km. Along with this CrossOver GX250 is getting praised for having more storage space, and in doing so you can flip or remove the rear seat to add more objects as per your requirement. 

 

Along with this the CrossOver GX250 is available in 4 colour options: Blue with Red, Blue with Yellow, Dark Blue with Grey, and Brown with White.
