Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp have expanded their co-developed portfolio in India with the launch of the all-new H-D X440 T, positioned as the new range-topper in the X440 family, at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2,79,500. Alongside it, the ultra‑premium CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide have been introduced, bringing Harley’s flagship Grand American Touring experience to Indian highways.
The X440 T builds on the success of the original X440 by adding sharper styling, segment-leading electronic rider aids, and improved ergonomics, aimed squarely at young riders who want Harley-Davidson character with daily-usable performance. With the new CVO models debuting the Milwaukee‑Eight VVT 121 engine in India, Harley‑Davidson now spans everything from accessible entry‑point roadsters to limited‑run mega‑tourers in a single, coherent 2025 portfolio.
The new Harley‑Davidson X440 T sits above the Vivid and S variants, bringing a comprehensive hardware and electronics upgrade while retaining the 440cc air‑oil‑cooled single‑cylinder engine and 6‑speed gearbox of the standard bike. The motorcycle is capable of producing 27 HP of power and 38 Nm of peak torque.
Key to that transformation is the adoption of ride‑by‑wire, which unlocks two dedicated ride modes—Road and Rain—along with switchable traction control and switchable rear ABS, a rare combination in this price band. A segment‑first panic braking alert uses all four indicators to flash rapidly under hard deceleration.

After seeing the bike, what can we say about the design? The X440 T distinguishes itself from the standard X440 with a more muscular, XR‑inspired stance, including a reworked rear sub‑frame, a new tail section, and redesigned grab rails for better pillion support. The substantial rear fender and revised seat profile give the bike a more planted look, while also promising improved long‑distance comfort for both rider and passenger.
Bar‑end mirrors, a blacked‑out front fender, and fresh colorways such as Pearl Blue, Pearl Red, Pearl White, and Vivid Black add a distinct visual identity that will appeal to riders upgrading from 150–250 cc machines. The new “Harley‑Davidson X440 T” tank branding and racing‑style pinstripes further sharpen its roadster credentials without straying from the familiar Harley silhouette.
With the arrival of the T, Harley‑Davidson and Hero MotoCorp have also recalibrated the X440 range to make the lineup more approachable for first‑time premium buyers. The X440 Vivid now starts at Rs 2,34,500, the X440 S at Rs 2,54,900, and the X440 T at Rs 2,79,500 (all ex‑showroom) in India.

Bookings for the X440 T open from 7 December 2025 across Harley‑Davidson and Hero Premia dealerships, with online reservations available through the dedicated X440 platform. This phased roll‑out strategy leverages Hero MotoCorp’s extensive network, allowing the X440 platform to reach a wider geography than traditional big‑bike dealerships alone.

At the very top of the 2025 lineup sit the new Harley‑Davidson CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide, both powered by the 1,982.83 cc Milwaukee‑Eight VVT 121 V‑twin, delivering around 115 hp and 189 Nm of torque. These engines combine variable valve timing with advanced cooling and ride electronics to offer strong low‑end pull, relaxed highway cruising, and improved efficiency over long distances.

The CVO Street Glide, with its re‑sculpted Batwing fairing, and the CVO Road Glide, with its signature Sharknose fairing, pair this performance with Skyline OS infotainment on a 12.3‑inch TFT, premium audio, and bespoke paint and finishes. Ex‑showroom prices are pegged at Rs 63,03,142 for the CVO Street Glide and Rs 67,36,720 for the CVO Road Glide, clearly targeting discerning riders who want factory‑custom exclusivity straight out of the showroom.
Harley-Davidson’s refreshed 2025 lineup, led by the tech-packed X440 T and the exclusive CVO twins, gives riders more ways than ever to join the H-D family. Explore a test ride, feel the difference on the saddle, and choose the Harley that matches your next chapter.
