Hero MotoCorp Achieves 141% Global Growth in January 2025, Launches 5 New Models

Hero MotoCorp sold 442,873 units in January 2025, with a 141% surge in global sales. The company launched 5 new models, including the Hero Xtreme 250R and Xpulse 210, and Vida shipped 6,669 units of the new V2 electric scooter.

Hero MotoCorp yet again proves its business prowess as the largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters by selling 442,873 units in the month of January 2025.

The company issued 412,378 units in the domestic market, & on the other hand, the global business sustained its strong momentum with 30,495 units, which enabled a whopping 141% growth over the previous January (2024). The present growth was led by a strong demand from the key global markets like Bangladesh and Columbia.

Hero MotoCorp’s own EV brand, namely Vida, shipped 6,669 units of the freshly introduced Vida V2, which starts at ₹96,000.

New launches from Hero MotoCorp in the month of January were 5 products across different segments. The products that bolstered Hero MotoCorp’s presence in the premium segment were the newly launched Hero Xtreme 250R & the Xpulse 210. The manufacturer also brightened its scooter repertoire with the newly launched Destini 125, Xoom 125 & the maxi scooter: Xoom 160.

The motorsports team of the Hero MotoCorp successfully concluded the Dakar Valley 2025 with a splendid 7th position and strengthened the hold as one of the formidable competitors in the event of global rally racing. The 7th position marks the 2nd best performance after finishing 2nd place in 2024.
