Hero MotoCorp has named Bollywood actor Ishaan Khatter as the brand ambassador for its Hero Xoom scooter range. The announcement aligns with a new advertising campaign aimed at young urban riders in India's expanding scooter market.

New Campaign Targets Young Riders

The campaign, developed by McCann India under Omnicom Advertising India, features Ishaan Khatter performing stunts and riding with a co-star through city streets. The soundtrack is a reworked version of a popular song, sung by veteran playback singer Usha Uthup, with lyrics adapted to reference the Hero Xoom.
Aashish Midha, Head of Marketing at Hero MotoCorp, stated that the campaign aims to strengthen the brand's connection with new and younger riders. He emphasized that the Hero Xoom range focuses on design and performance to appeal to this demographic.
Ishaan Khatter described his involvement as blending action and romance, highlighting the importance of the adapted iconic track in setting the campaign's tone.
Hero Xoom Range and Distribution
The Hero Xoom scooter range includes three models: Xoom 110, Xoom 125, and Xoom 160. The Xoom 110 and Xoom 125 are available through Hero MotoCorp's standard dealership network across India. The Xoom 160 is sold exclusively through the company's premium Hero Premia dealership channel.
Hero MotoCorp, headquartered in New Delhi, is the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters. The company reports annual revenue of around $5 billion. It operates six manufacturing facilities in India and additional plants in Colombia and Bangladesh. Hero MotoCorp serves over 125 million customers in 52 countries.
