The team’s most prominent rider, Ross Branch, delivered a remarkable performance by clinching a third podium finish in Stage 1.

Ross Branch Secures 3rd Place on Stage 1

According to the recent race report, in the premier Rally GP, Ross Branch shows his exceptional skills and secures a third podium finish in Stage 1, with the 3rd fastest time of the day. As the race ends, Ross still sits comfortably, playing himself in the overall in India. However, his teammates Noacho and Tobias achieved 11th and 12th positions, respectively. His optimistic outlook sets a positive tone for the stages ahead.

Team rider Nacho Cornejo, known as one of rally-raid’s best navigators, impressed in difficult conditions, finishing the stage in 10th place overall, while also maintaining a strong 11th position in the general classification. Nacho Cornejo, with his riding skills, took on the challenging role of opening the track during Stage 1. While Tobias Ebster followed behind in the 12th position.

Tobias Ebster, competing in the Rally2 category, pushed through one of the rally’s toughest days. Despite minor navigation and technical issues, he manages to secure 12th place overall and 4th in the Rally2 category. However, Nach opened the race while maintaining strong confidence in his trusted Hero 450 Rally.

Challenging Terrain Tests Riders’ Skills

The Rallye du Maroc consists of a three-stage race. Stage 1 features a 779 km long route, which also includes a 276 km liaison from the Grand Stade de Fes to the start of a 298 km. Riders faced rocky tracks, trial sections, high-speed zones, and varying altitudes from 1,000 to 1,600 meters above sea level. This high-altitude racing course tested navigation precision and physical endurance. This track resembled a classic Dakar rally profile.

Upcoming Stages Promise More Thrills

In Stage 2, the riders will be riding on a 397 km loop around Erfoud, which will be timed at 307 km for the rally race. This route will take riders through the heart of Morocco’s desert landscape. Competitors will have to face the legendary dunes of Merzouga and the surrounding areas, encountering constantly shifting sands and intricate navigation challenges. This upcoming stage will further test both man and machine.
