Honda 2W Sales February 2026: Activa, Shine, and Scooters Lead Growth

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) reported domestic sales of 5,13,217 units in February 2026. This figure marks a 33.91% year-on-year increase from 3,83,259 units sold in February 2025. The growth was mainly driven by strong demand for scooters and select motorcycles, with the Activa and Shine models leading the surge.

Sales Performance by Model

The Honda Activa remained the company’s best-selling model, recording 2,54,449 units in February 2026. This represents a 46% year-on-year growth from 1,74,009 units in February 2025. The Activa also maintained its position as India’s top-selling scooter by a significant margin.
The combined Shine 125 and SP125 lineup ranked second, with 1,38,438 units sold. This was a slight decrease of 0.55% compared to 1,39,202 units in the previous year. The Unicorn model delivered 36,317 units, reflecting a 25.53% year-on-year increase.
Shine 100 sales more than doubled to 32,922 units, marking a 114.35% increase. The Dio also saw strong gains, with sales rising to 28,227 units, up 76.11% year-on-year. The newly introduced Hornet 125 added 9,431 units to the total.
Other models showed mixed results. Livo sales declined to 3,148 units, down 6.34%. The CB350 range posted 4,099 units, up 255.20%. SP160 sales reached 2,499 units, a 123.72% increase. CB200X sales rose to 1,065 units, up 110.47% year-on-year.
Premium motorcycles faced challenges. H’ness 350 sales dropped by 14.86% to 1,736 units. Hornet 2.0 sales also declined by 10.69% to 886 units. Activa e recorded zero dispatches, compared to 560 units in February 2025.
Scooter and Motorcycle Segment Analysis
Scooters accounted for 2,82,676 units, representing 55.08% of total domestic sales. This segment grew by 48.31% year-on-year. In contrast, motorcycles contributed 2,30,541 units, making up 44.92% of sales and growing by 19.66%.
Honda’s February 2026 results highlight the strong momentum in its core commuter and scooter segments. The Activa and entry-level motorcycles continue to drive volumes. Premium motorcycle sales, however, remain under pressure, suggesting a market preference for affordable and practical models.
