KTM 125 Duke rival 2024 Honda CB125R Launched in Europe
The 2024 Honda CB125R, rivaling KTM 125 Duke, redefines entry-level motorcycles with its style, performance, and advanced features, appealing to both novice and experienced riders.

Honda has introduced the updated version of its entry level motorcycle Honda CB125R in the United Kingdom. The model has gone through mechanical updates, aesthetic revisions, and some changes in powertrains. The bike is the latest offering from Honda and has multiple updates when compared with its previous generation. The new updated model seems to follow the design and features of upcoming CB1000R.
The bike is available at £4,699 (ex-showroom), which is around INR 4,89,038.65 in India. If launched in the Indian market we can expect the bike to be available at an expected price of Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom) and rival with KTM 125 Duke.
The bike is styled with the Neo Sports Cafe 125cc machine. It has received new and refreshed stylings along with a new full 5 inch TFT display, inspired from CB1000R, which can be controlled by all-new switchgear. The bike has received four new colour schemes, which has further enhanced the overall look of 2024 CB125. The over the top specifications include, single-cylinder DOHC 4V engine, high-quality 41mm Showa ‘Separate Function’ Big Piston (SFF-BP) USD forks, radial-mount four-piston front brake calliper operating with floating disc, and IMU-controlled ABS.
KEY FEATURES
Engine
CBR125 will be equipped with EURO5+ compliant 125cc, DOHC 4V engine design which produces 11.0kW @ 10,000rpm and 11.6Nm @ 8,000rpm along with a six speed gearbox. Providing a top speed of 105 kmph.
Chassis
The CB125R boasts a minimalistic design with a tubular and pressed steel lattice frame, ensuring high rigidity and controlled torsion. Its chassis features a 24.2° rake, 90.2mm trail, and a 51.5% front/48.5% rear weight bias, promoting agile handling and stability. Weighing 130kg wet with a 1345mm wheelbase, it offers easy steering and maneuverability in city traffic.
Equipped with 41mm Showa SFF-BP USD forks and a non-adjustable rear monoshock, it delivers precise damping and control. Its braking system includes a hubless floating front disc, radial-mount Nissin four-piston caliper, rear 220mm disc, and 2-channel ABS with IMU for optimal distribution.
