Honda CB1000R Latest Update

Latest Update: Honda CB1000R is ready to make its India debut in February 2026. The upcoming Honda motorcycle is expected to get a price tag of Rs 15 to Rs 16 lakh, ex-showroom. Honda will position this flagship model in India’s premium streetfighter or supernaked bike segment.

The Honda CB1000R will likely feature a futuristic, neo-retro design language, hinting at a blend of premium aesthetics and performance. While the retro design adds to its classic appearance, features like a full-color TFT instrument panel, ride-by-wire, traction control system, ABS, and four riding modes make it a modern motorcycle.

One of the stand-out features of the upcoming Honda CB1000R is its neo-retro design with sculpted lines complemented by a brushed aluminum radiator cover, LED headlamp, and single-side swingarm.

Expected to be powered by a 999cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine, the Honda CB1000R will produce 143 bhp and 104 Nm of peak torque. The engine will come mated with a 6-speed gearbox. For suspension duty, the upcoming Honda bike will get a 43 mm Showa SFF-BP in front and a Showa BFRC mono-shock connected via a single-sided swingarm in the rear. The bike will feature 310 mm twin disc brakes at the front and 256mm single disc brakes at the rear.

Expected Price & Rivals
As discussed, the Honda CB1000R's expected price in India will start from Rs 14.46 lakh, ex-showroom. After launching in the Indian market, the motorcycle will compete with the Harley-Davidson Sportster S, Indian Scout Bobber Sixty, Triumph Speed Twin 1200, and Suzuki Katana.
