Honda 2021 CB1000R Highlights

The Honda CB1000R is expected to get launched in August 2021 and is a litre-class naked street bike which is the replacement of the CB1000R Hornet which was sold earlier in India. The bike is a super luxury model, that gets a new Black edition with updated looks, better equipment, and more features for 2021. To initiate things off, the headlight has been tweaked to so that it looks fine. The aluminium sub-frame has been redesigned in such a manner that it looks cleaner and the radiator shrouds and airbox covers have also been remodelled. There is also a distinctive Y-shape design for the seven-spoke cast aluminium wheels. The black edition features an all-black paint scheme and a flyscreen as standard and regular thing. The CB1000R is strengthened by a Euro 5/ BS6 compliant 998cc, inline four-cylinder engine that makes the same power and torque as earlier i.e., 146 PS at 10500rpm and 104Nm at 8250rpm. It retains its six-speed effective transmission gearbox. The Black edition get ultimate benefit from a bi-directional quick shifter which comes in the form of the standard feature. Electronic nannies include four ride modes rain, standard, sport, user, and three levels of engine power (P), engine brake (EB) and Honda selectable torque control (HSTC), where HSTC can be switched off whenever required. This bike offers unmatched suspension, which are managed by Showa SFF-BP inverted forks and Showa BRFC (Balance Free Rear Cushion) monoshock, and the bike is anchored by twin 310mm front discs and a 256mm rear disc. Honda is offering this bike as an exclusive performance and features which comes at decent price point. The bike will be highly priced in the range of Rs15,00,000 to Rs16,00,000.
