Key Highlights

ZR-V SUV Details
The Honda ZR-V is expected to be priced between Rs 40 lakh and Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with other premium 5-seater SUVs such as the Volkswagen Tiguan and Skoda Kodiaq Lounge. The ZR-V features rounded crossover proportions, differing from the upright design of the Honda Elevate.
Global versions of the ZR-V measure about 4,568mm in length, 1,840mm in width, 1,620mm in height, and have a 2,657mm wheelbase. The India-spec model is expected to have similar dimensions. Key features include a freestanding infotainment touchscreen, powered driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, ADAS suite, powered tailgate, and wireless charging pad.
The India-spec ZR-V is anticipated to use a 180hp 2.0-litre 4-cylinder hybrid powertrain, paired with an e-CVT automatic transmission.
City Facelift Updates

The 2026 Honda City facelift will be the second update to the fifth-generation City, following the first facelift in 2023. Exterior changes will likely be subtle, focusing on headlights, tail-lamps, bumpers, and wheels.
Inside, Honda aims to add more features to help the City compete with rivals like the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, and Skoda Slavia. Expected upgrades include a powered driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, a larger infotainment touchscreen with updated software, a digital driver’s display, and an optional 360-degree camera.
The new City facelift is expected to retain its existing 121hp 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and 126hp hybrid powertrains. Both manual and CVT gearbox options will continue to be offered.
Market Significance
The launch of the ZR-V and the City facelift signals Honda’s renewed focus on the Indian market. The ZR-V, as a premium SUV, will serve as a brand builder, while the City facelift aims to keep the sedan competitive in its segment.
