Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) reported a significant increase in sales for March 2026 and the full financial year FY2025-26. The company recorded total sales of 5,49,145 units in March 2026, reflecting a 28.47% year-on-year growth compared to 4,27,448 units in March 2025. Despite this annual growth, sales declined by 3.21% month-on-month from 567,351 units in February 2026.

Domestic sales in March 2026 reached 5,12,303 units, up 27.63% from 4,01,411 units in March 2025. Export sales grew at a faster rate, increasing 41.50% to 36,842 units compared to 26,037 units in the previous year. On a month-on-month basis, domestic sales saw a slight decrease of 0.17% from 5,13,190 units in February 2026. Export sales experienced a sharper drop of 31.98% from 54,161 units in the prior month, contributing to the overall monthly decline.

For the first quarter of 2026 (January to March), HMSI reported total sales of 16,90,907 units. This marks a 30.60% year-on-year growth over 12,94,744 units in Q1 2025. Domestic sales for the quarter stood at 15,45,072 units, a 30.02% increase from 11,88,306 units. Export sales rose 37.01% to 1,45,835 units from 1,06,438 units in the same period last year.

For the full financial year FY2025-26, Honda achieved total sales of 63,69,504 units, a 17.86% increase compared to 54,04,216 units in FY2024-25. Domestic sales accounted for 57,49,275 units, up 16.73% from 49,25,241 units. Exports also grew, rising 29.49% to 6,20,229 units from 4,78,975 units in the previous year.

Honda attributed its performance in FY2025-26 to balanced growth in both domestic and export markets.
