Hyundai Car Sales in January 2025: Creta Sets New Record

Hyundai is also in the race of increased sales performance, selling 65,603 vehicles in January – a mix of domestic and global exports. The brand has sold 54,003 units domestically with 15% YoY on growth and they have exported 11,600 units.
The Creta SUV performed really well in this month and sets its own record of selling 18,522 units domestically – its best month ever! The newly launched Creta Electric (debuted at the Bharat Mobility Expo in January) gave the brand a major boost, proving electric SUVs are catching fire in India.

After a quieter December 2024 (42,208 units), Hyundai saw a 55% monthly sales jump – adding over 23,000 units in just one month.

Hyundai’s COO, Tarun Garg, highlighted their focus on EVs: “The Creta Electric is just the start. We’re building charging networks nationwide to ease range anxiety and make EVs mainstream.”
Hyundai’s 2025 is off to a zippy start – gas-powered Creta rules the roads, but its electric sibling is charging ahead.
