Recent spy shots have once again given us a glimpse of the Hyundai Creta EV's interior, showing a cabin theme similar to the regular Creta but with new features. The all-electric Creta will have dual 10.25-inch displays and a new steering wheel design. The drive selector is positioned behind the steering wheel, similar to the premium Ioniq 5 EV.
The exterior of the Creta EV will have minor changes, including a closed-off grille, new alloy wheels, and redesigned bumpers. The lighting will remain all LED with L-shaped LED DRLs.
The Creta EV is expected to come with many features from the regular Creta, such as dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, and ventilated front seats. Safety features will include six airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control (ESC), and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like auto emergency braking, lane assist, and adaptive cruise control.
Details about the battery and motor are yet to be confirmed, but it is expected to have a range of over 400 km. The Creta EV will support DC fast charging and may feature multi-level regenerative braking.
The Hyundai Creta EV is expected to launch in early 2025 with prices starting around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the MG ZS EV and Tata Curvv EV and will be a premium alternative to the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400.
