The Hyundai Ioniq 5 XRT, a rugged off-road variant with unique design features and improved performance, has been unveiled. Its availability in various markets is yet to be confirmed.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 XRT: Rugged Off-Road Variant Revealed

Recently Hyundai has introduced the rugged Ioniq 5 XRT, which features new front and back designs, different alloy wheels, and upgraded tyres and suspension. This model is also raised and adjusted for light off-roading driving.

The international Ioniq 5 line-up now includes three distinct  models: the standard Ioniq 5, the ‘N’ performance version, and the new XRT. The XRT features a 23mm lift with a different suspension,18-inch alloy wheels with all terrain tires, and unique bumpers with “digital camouflage” and dark accents. It also has two red-painted hooks at the front.

  1. Comes with an 84kWh battery pack

The Ioniq 5 XRT is available in two special paint colours. It features a suspension lift designed for off-road use, improving its approach and departure angles to 19.8 and 30 degrees, which is 2.3 and 4,6 degrees better than standard model. The XRT also has unique badges, black mirrors, slightly different seat upholstery, and a three-spoke steering wheel instead of the regular two-spoke one.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 XRT comes with 84kWh battery and all-wheel drive, with the motor on each axle. While the exact power details have not been released, it is expected to have around 320 horsepower, similar to the standard dual-motor version.

The updated Ioniq 5 has been unveiled abroad and is expected to arrive in India eventually. It's still unclear if the rugged XRT model will be available here.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 XRT, a rugged variant with the off-road enhancements, unique design, and 320hp, may arrive in India. The updated Ioniq 5 is confirmed, but XRTs availability is uncertain.
