The facelifted Hyundai Venue 2022 is slated to go on sale in India today, and we'll have all the live updates from the event right here. The Venue was first released in 2019, and after three years, it is getting a mid-cycle update for the first time. A larger infotainment system, 60+ connected car technology as part of the Bluelink system, and other features and technology have been added to the subcompact SUV, in addition to design and styling changes. Keep an eye on this space for all the latest news.
With the company recently releasing photos of the SUV, we now know what the new Hyundai Venue will look like. The grille and lighting pattern are inspired by the IONIQ5 electric crossover, while the rear section with the continuous LED light signature that connects the two LED taillights and the rear bumper is inspired by the new-generation Tucson. Both of these versions will be available in India later this year.

Three engine options are available for the Hyundai Venue facelift in 2022: a 1.2 petrol, a 1.0 GDi Turbo petrol, and a 1.5 diesel. The 1.2-liter variant starts at Rs. 7.53 lakh, while the turbo petrol and diesel versions start at Rs. 9.99 lakh (All prices ex-showroom India)

The Venue facelift will include several drive modes (Normal, Eco, Sport), Alexa and Google Voice Assistant support, and 2-step rear reclining seats, among other things. A new sound of nature feature has been added to the infotainment system, and the voice assistant now understands ten regional languages.

Unsoo Kim, the new MD and CEO of Hyundai Motor India, takes the stage to kick off the event. This is the company's first launch event under his leadership. Venue, according to Kim, has been critical to Hyundai's success in the SUV sector. Hyundai sold 2.5 lakh SUVs in 2021, with the Venue accounting for 42% of the total.
The 2019 Hyundai Venue facelift is about to make its debut. The start of the launch event is almost around the corner.
The Venue will continue to be available with three engines under the hood: a 1.2-litre petrol engine, a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The 1.2-litre petrol engine will only be available with a 5-speed manual transmission, however the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine will be available with both a 6-speed iMT (intelligent manual transmission) and a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission (dual-clutch transmission). The 1.5-litre oil burner will continue to be equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard.
The Hyundai Venue also has a new rear part that appears to be influenced by Hyundai's IONIQ5 electric crossover. The SUV has a reworked bumper with new reflectors, as well as a new segment-first connecting LED taillights.
The 2022 Venue makeover will be available in seven colours, including a Fiery Red dual-tone option with a Phantom Black top. Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Denim Blue, Phantom Black, Polar White, and Fiery Red are some of the other colours available.
The pricing of the previous Hyundai Venue ranged from Rs. 7.11 lakh to Rs. 11.84 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In comparison, we anticipate a modest increase in the pricing for the 2022 model. New external lighting, sharper alloys, a smarter-looking cabin, and a new, larger touchscreen infotainment system with additional connected car tech will all be part of the package. The Venue makeover is expected to cost between Rs. 7.29 lakh and Rs. 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
