The Indian two-wheeler market is expanding with new models and forthcoming launches. In FY25, an Indian motorcycle brand has also unveiled its all-new eight models under the portfolio. Yes, you heard it right; the 8 new models catered to heritage and performance. The iconic Indian Scout cruiser lineup has finally debuted in the Indian market.
The Indian Motorcycle brand has introduced all-new Scout series models with three rim levels in India. The bike is priced at Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and offers more than 100 accessories to suit your riding style. Let us check out the upcoming bikes Scout has to offer under the portfolio and take a deep insight into the specs they provided with contemporary styling.

The Indian Motorcycle range offers 8 distinct models under the Scout series portfolio. Both 8 models bring together the allure of retro-rugged bobbers, sporty cruisers, and adventure tourers. With two engine options offered for Indian customers, such as the 999 cc V-twin powered engine and the top trim with the 1250 cc V-twin engine.
With these two engines and 100 accessories provided, buyers are spoilt for choice, each variant engineered to deliver a unique riding experience. The Scout motorcycle series has three 999 cc Sixty models and five 1250 cc models. Each model has three different trim levels with some additional accessories. However, the 101 Scout is the most powerful bike from the lineup.

The Scout Sixty model range has three variants under the portfolio—the Scout Sixty Classic, the Scout Sixty Bobber, and the Scout Sport Sixty. All three models have the same engine configuration but different exterior design overhauls. The Scout Sixty Classic has a retro traditional look, the Sixty Bobber has a stripped-back look with a pared-down seat, whereas the Sixty Sport Scout has a sporty fairing with taller handlebars.

All the bikes under this engine configuration are capable of producing 85 HP and 88 Nm of torque. The bike will be paired with a 5-speed gearbox for smooth transmission.

The flagship Scout model range offers 5 distinctive variants under the portfolio. These variants are the Scout Classic, Scout Bobber, Sport Scout, Super Scout, and the top-of-the-line 101 Scout. The first three models offer the same styling and features as the Scout Sixty. But the Super Scout comes with a touring windscreen and leather saddlebags for travel.
All the bikes under the flagship Scout range come with a 1250 cc V-twin engine that generates around 105 HP and 108 Nm of peak torque. However, from the portfolio, the Scout 101 is especially tuned alone to produce the power of 111 HP along with the 109 Nm of maximum torque.
Every bike under the portfolio has 3 different trim levels. The Sixty Scout range comes with Standard and Limited trim levels. The standard version offers a digital-analog gauge, with all-LED round headlamps at the front. For safety, the bike has a dual-channel ABS and disc brake configuration. The Limited trim level adds traction control and three riding modes (Sport, Standard, and Tour), a USB charger, and the dual-tone paint scheme.
However, only the 101 Scout gets the Limited+ Tech trim level under the portfolio. This special variant offers the bike a more premium look and engraves your riding style. The 101 Scout now comes with an all-new 4-inch touchscreen TFT instrument panel with keyless ignition. As with advanced Bluetooth connectivity, you can control the ignition of the bike at your fingertips. The vehicle also brought a wireless charger, accidental alerts, USD fork suspension, and turn-by-turn navigation.
The 2025 Indian Scout series lineup specifically caters to premium cruiser fans with multiple powertrain options. The bike aims to focus on blending style and enhancing performance. With such multiple models, bikes are blessed to those who can resonate with the Scout riding experience. With robust V-twin engines, advanced safety features, and heritage-infused design, the Scout only has competition with Harley-Davidson’s Sportster models in India.
For daily commuting, Scouty Sixty models are well-suited as an ideal choice. Yet for those who want an American heritage experience under the Indian name, the 101 Scout might be the best option to buy if you want a powerful cruiser bike. However, with additional accessories, the starting price of the bike may increase for each different model.
