Electric Two-Wheeler Sales June 2026: Market Overview

June 2026 numbers point to a segment that is no longer being driven by one or two breakout names alone. Instead, the field now looks broader, with legacy manufacturers and newer EV specialists fighting for visibility, volume, and consistency.

TVS Motor’s lead is notable not just because of the total volume but because it comes in a market where demand remains sensitive to pricing, product refreshes, and dealer reach. Bajaj Auto’s strong second-place performance reinforces how quickly mainstream OEMs have turned electric mobility into a serious business line.

Ather Energy’s position at third shows the continuing strength of its premium scooter strategy, while Hero MotoCorp’s rise reflects the expanding role of scale in the EV market. Ola Electric, meanwhile, remains a major volume player, even though its year-on-year trend was negative for the month of June.

Rank 1. TVS Motor

TVS Motor topped the June 2026 electric two-wheeler chart with 47,025 registrations, up from 42,970 in May and 26,734 in June 2025. That translates to 9.4% month-on-month growth and 75.9% year-on-year growth, a solid sign that its EV play is gaining steady traction.

Rank 2. Bajaj Auto

Bajaj Auto followed closely with 43,270 registrations, compared with 39,508 in May and 23,987 a year earlier. The company posted 9.5% month-on-month growth and 80.4% year-on-year growth, showing that its electric portfolio is scaling quickly in a highly competitive market.

Rank 3. Ather Energy

Ather Energy recorded 31,213 registrations in June 2026, versus 28,512 in May and 16,015 in June 2025. With 9.5% month-on-month growth and a strong 94.9% year-on-year rise, the brand continues to build momentum through its premium positioning and expanding customer base.

Rank 4. Hero MotoCorp

Hero MotoCorp posted 21,804 registrations, rising from 19,215 in May and 7,920 in June 2025. The company delivered 13.5% month-on-month growth and a remarkable 175.3% year-on-year surge, making it one of the most impressive performers in the chart.

Rank 5. Ola Electric

Ola Electric registered 16,145 units in June 2026, down from 15,218 in May but still above the 20,697 level seen in June 2025. The brand showed 6.1% month-on-month growth in the chart but a year-on-year decline of 22%, suggesting a more uneven performance than its rivals.

Rank 6. Ampere Vehicles

Ampere Vehicles reported 10,934 registrations, compared with 7,705 in May and 4,334 in June 2025. That works out to a sharp 41.9% month-on-month jump and 152.3% year-on-year growth, making it one of the strongest volume gainers in the lower half of the table.

Rank 7. River Mobility

River Mobility stood out with 4,394 registrations in June 2026, up from 3,788 in May and 1,399 in June 2025. The brand delivered 16% month-on-month growth and an eye-catching 214.1% year-on-year increase, underlining the momentum behind its focused product strategy.

Rank 9. E-Sprinto Green

E-Sprinto Green reported 1,878 registrations in June 2026, up from 955 in May and just 51 in June 2025. The chart does not list a year-on-year growth percentage, but the surge in volume indicates a steep expansion from a very small base.

Rank 10. Simple Energy

Simple Energy closed the top 10 with 1,366 registrations, slightly above 1,324 in May and well ahead of 440 in June 2025. The brand posted 3.2% month-on-month growth and an impressive 210.5% year-on-year rise, showing that its market presence is gradually strengthening.
