Moto Morini recently made it official that its portfolio of motorcycles will be unveiled in India. The Italian two-wheeler manufacturer is expected to launch its 650cc motorcycle range in the Indian market soon. The officials from the Italian motorcycle brand have confirmed that the X-Cape 650, X-Cape 650X, SEIEMMEZZO 6½ Retro Street and SEIEMMEZZO 6½ Scrambler series of bikes will be sold in India.

The X-Cape bikes will be sold in the middleweight adventure touring category in the Indian market. The X-Cape bikes will rival Kawasaki Versys 650 tourer and Suzuki V-Strom 650XT in the country. The Moto Morini X-Cape 650 bike engine is a liquid cooled 649cc parallel twin motor that produces 60 BHP of peak power at 8,250rpm and 54Nm of maximum torque at 7,000rpm. Whereas, the SEIEMMEZZO 6½ Retro Street bike and SEIEMMEZZO 6½ Scrambler motorcycle uses a 649cc liquid cooled parallel twin engine that churns out 55 BHP of maximum power at 8,250rpm and 54Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.
Moto Morini is an iconic Italian motorcycle manufacturer with a great racing legacy. The brand has partnered with Adishwar Auto of India to produce and sell premium Moto Morini bike portfolio in the domestic Indian market, according to a statement.

Italian niche two wheeler manufacturer Moto Morini recently declared its motorcycle model range for India consisting of an Adventure Tourer, Tourer, Retro Street and a Scrambler motorcycle. In June 2022, the Italian company had officially stated that the brand would be partnering with Adishwar Auto Ride based in Hyderabad. The legendary bike brand once had a partnership with the city's Vardenchi Motorcycles in 2013 to set up a strong foothold of its presence.
Moto Morini in its quest to expand the brand’s horizons in the premium mobility category in India, has planned to launch a series of 650cc bikes for the domestic Indian market with an expanded product line that includes the X-Cape 650, X-Cape 650X adventure touring motorcycle, SEIEMMEZZO 6 ½ Retro Street bike and the stylish Moto Morini Scrambler bike, according to the company in an official statement.
According to Mr Vikas Jhabakh, the Managing Director of Adishwar Auto Ride India, ”The Italian Morini brand has garnered a good welcoming response in the European market, and we focus to solidify the Moto Morini brand in India with a similar strategy and approach.”
The adventure-spec and touring focused X-Cape bike is equipped with a 649cc, liquid cooled, 4 stroke, eight valve, in-line twin cylinder engine. It is fiited with 19 inches of Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires, Bosch twin channel ABS and Brembo braking system, that ensures great tire grip quality and that makes the bike perfect enough for winding mountain passes and to manoeuvre in off-road dirt road adventures as well.

The SEIEMMEZZO 6 ½ bike series derives power from a liquid cooled 649cc in-line twin cylinder, 4-stroke, 8-valve engine with Bosch's EFI technology. The SEIEMMEZZO features equipments such as Brembo brakes, dual-channel ABS from Bosch, KYB suspension, and Pirelli tires that makes this scrambler suitable for daily commute and short trips, as mentioned in the statement.
