Key Highlights

  • Kia India sold 27,286 units in April 2026, its highest ever for the month
  • Seltos and Sonet both exceeded 10,000 units in monthly sales
  • Year-to-date sales reached 111,611 units, up 13 percent from last year
  • Kia surpassed 1.5 million cumulative domestic sales since entering India

Model-Wise Sales Performance

The Kia Seltos led the company's sales in April 2026. It remains the brand's best-selling model and a primary growth driver. The Seltos benefits from strong market acceptance and its 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. Both the Seltos and Sonet models crossed the 10,000-unit monthly sales mark, showing strong demand in the mid-size and compact SUV segments.

The Kia Sonet continues to perform well, supported by the availability of automatic variants in both petrol and diesel options. The Kia Carens lineup, including the newer Kia Carens Clavis range, has helped Kia maintain a solid position in the family MPV segment.

Year-to-Date and Cumulative Milestones

On a year-to-date basis, Kia India recorded sales of 111,611 units. This represents a 13 percent increase over the 99,199 units sold during the same period last year. The company also surpassed 1.5 million cumulative domestic sales since its entry into the Indian market, highlighting growing brand acceptance.

Kia continues to expand its after-sales network, now operating 500 service workshops across India. The brand has established 891 touchpoints in 396 cities and operates 128 certified pre-owned outlets. This network expansion aims to improve accessibility and enhance the ownership experience for customers.

Kia's record April 2026 sales underline sustained demand for its SUV-led portfolio. The Seltos and Sonet remain key contributors to the company's volumes. Consistent product updates, a growing network, and a focus on premium features support Kia's strong momentum in the Indian market.
