Kia Seltos Facelift Breaks Cover: To Debut in 2022 Busan International Motor Show

Kia Seltos Facelift is all set to debut in front of the general public at the 2022 Busan International Motor Show. Moreover, the car is expected to launch in the latter part of 2022.

The all-new Kia Seltos Facelift has finally been showcased to the entire world, through official pictures. The upgraded SUV will debut in front of the general public at the 2022 Busan International Motor Show. The show will start on July 14th, 2022, in Korea. India will debut the new model once it has first been introduced to international markets.

The new Seltos is expected to launch in the latter part of 2022. The updated version of Kia Seltos has undergone substantial alterations, both cosmetically and internally.

Kia Seltos Facelift: Exteriors

The front fascia has seen most of the visual alterations. A freshly created grille that is positioned lower than the previous grille is a highlight of the 2018 Kia Seltos facelift. Its air dam is larger. Fresh LED DRLs and slightly modified headlamps further enhance the vehicle's new appearance. The SUV also receives new LED taillamps, an updated LED bumper, and freshly designed alloy wheels. The redesigned version has new exterior color schemes but the model's dimensions don't change.

Kia Seltos Facelift: Engine

The current lineup's engine configuration is probably going to be used going forward. Currently, it comes with a 1.5L normally aspirated petrol engine with 114 horsepower, a 1.4L turbocharged petrol engine with 138 horsepower, and a 1.5L turbo diesel engine with 114 horsepower. The automaker may provide mild-hybrid technology in order to satisfy the new CAFÉ and revised BS6 emission rules.

Kia Seltos Facelift: Technology

The ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite may represent one of the significant advancements. The RADAS (Radio Detection and Ranging) sensors, which are utilized in ADAS vehicles for sensing large things in the front, are seen in the official photographs. It might only be available in the top-of-the-line model. The interior of the SUV is finished in black and brown tones. A fully digital instrument cluster and fresh color upholstery are also noticeable.

The new Seltos has upgraded linked car technology from UVO. The next model might be available with a panoramic sunroof, as opposed to the current model's single-pane sunroof. The mid-size SUV from the automaker comes equipped with 6 airbags as standard safety equipment, much like the Kia Carens. The new 2022 Kia Seltos will comply with India's new safety standards thanks to this innovation. Just so you know, all vehicles with seating for up to eight passengers will be required by law to have six airbags.
