Key Highlights

  • KYT R1R full-face helmet launched in India from Rs 39,000
  • Tricomposite shell and multi-density EPS liner for safety and strength
  • Available in three variants with color graphics at Rs 39,000 and others at Rs 43,500

Key Features and Safety

The R1R helmet uses a multi-density EPS liner for progressive energy absorption in various impact zones. It meets the latest ECE 22.06 European safety homologation standards. The helmet's aerodynamic profile was refined using wind tunnel testing to improve stability at high speeds and during aggressive braking.

The ventilation system includes integrated intake channels and a rear spoiler, which help manage airflow and heat dissipation. Inside, the helmet is lined with Hydrocool technical fabric to manage heat and moisture for rider comfort.

Visor System and Variants

The visor system offers optical class 1 clarity and includes a metal alloy racing lock system to prevent accidental opening at high speeds or during impacts. The visor is Pinlock ready, but the anti-fog insert must be purchased separately.

KYT offers the R1R helmet in three variant categories. The Color Graphics range is priced at Rs 39,000. The Carbon Graphics and Replica ranges are both priced at Rs 43,500.

Availability and Distribution

The helmet is distributed by House of Machines and is available at authorized KYT dealerships across India. KYT plans to expand its network from 360 to over 700 touchpoints by the financial year 2028.

CarBike 360 Says
