Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster debuts as brand’s most powerful open‑top hypercar
Lamborghini has revealed the Fenomeno Roadster, a 1080 CV V12 hybrid few‑off-roadster limited to just 15 units worldwide, delivering outrageous performance, open‑air drama, and next‑generation electrified technology.

Automobili Lamborghini has lifted the roof—literally and figuratively—on its wildest open-top yet, unveiling the new Fenomeno Roadster at the second Lamborghini Arena gathering in Imola. Billed as the most powerful open-top ever created by the brand, the limited-run roadster marries a 1080 CV hybrid V12 powertrain with extreme aerodynamics and track-bred technology. Aimed at collectors and circuit purists.
Limited to just 15 examples worldwide, the Fenomeno Roadster continues Lamborghini’s few‑off tradition inaugurated by the Reventón Roadster but pushes performance into a new electrified era. A 6.5‑liter naturally aspirated V12 paired with three electric motors delivers a combined 1080 CV, firing the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds and from 0 to 0–200 km/h in 6.8 seconds, on to more than 340 km/h.
Distinctive design and “feel like a pilot” cabin

Visually, the Fenomeno Roadster is a rolling manifesto of Lamborghini Centro Stile’s design language, mixing historic cues with futuristic forms. The front end is sharply sculpted with large intakes and a strong hexagonal signature, while the ultra‑low silhouette and pronounced centre line give the car a pure, speedster‑like stance.
The rear is inspired by the Essenza SCV12 and 1970s racing prototypes, combined with references to the Lamborghini Manifesto concept. A clear engine cover framed by hexagonal intakes turns the V12 into a visual centerpiece, while hexagon motifs repeat in elements such as side skirts, wheel arches, lights and interior air vents, making the car instantly recognizable as a modern Lamborghini.
Aero-Inspired Interiors

Inside, the cockpit embraces the brand’s “feel like a pilot” philosophy, with exposed carbon fiber, Lamborghini’s patented Carbon Skin, and suede‑like Corsatex by Dinamica covering key touchpoints. Deeply contoured seats with contrasting red stitching are designed to hold occupants securely during extreme cornering, while three digital displays with hexagonal graphics, haptic buttons and aviation‑style switches keep the driver focused like in a race car.
The launch car’s Blu Cepheus paint is one of the boldest palettes used on a Few‑Off Lamborghini, contrasted by Rosso Mars accents on lower sections that emphasize key forms. The combination is a nod to the colors of Bologna, while the blue recalls the 1968 Miura Roadster, neatly tying the Fenomeno Roadster back to the brand’s first open‑top icon.
Hybrid V12 HPEV Powertrain
At the heart of the Fenomeno Roadster sits Lamborghini’s most powerful V12 yet, a 6.5‑litre naturally aspirated unit producing 835 CV at 9,250 rpm and 725 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm, giving it a specific output of over 128 CV per litre. Combined with three electric motors, the system output reaches 1080 CV.
Two of those electric motors sit on the front axle, with a third mounted above the eight‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox, adding instantaneous torque, torque‑vectoring capability, and regenerative braking. A 7 kWh lithium‑ion battery also makes fully electric driving possible for short distances, underlining that this open‑top flagship is as much about advanced electrification as it is about raw drama.
Aerospace‑inspired carbon chassis

Beneath the sculpture is a multi‑technology carbon‑fiber monofuselage structure closely related to the architecture used on the Revuelto, but tailored for the roadster’s open‑top configuration. The front structure inforged compositee integrates crash elements, frame, windshield surround, rear bulkhead and side sills into an ultra‑rigid, lightweight assembly.
Despite losing its roof, the Fenomeno Roadster achieves stiffness levels very close to the coupé while adding only a few kilograms, thanks to Lamborghini’s patented mix of long and short carbon fibers in a fluid matrix. The design not only supports the enormous performance targets but also improves energy absorption in the event of a collision, debuting this hybrid chassis tech on a production Lamborghini.
Dynamics, brakes and bespoke Bridgestone tyres
Under the skin, manually adjustable racing shock absorbers allow owners to set ride height and damping for road or track, giving a wide window for stance and setup. The suspension kinematics are tuned so the dampers operate in their optimal range, promising precise body control and highly engaging behavior when the car is pushed.
Braking is handled by CCM‑R Plus carbon‑ceramic discs with a 3D long‑fiber structure and special coating to increase durability of both discs and pads, engineered to work with organic racing pads. The system integrates advanced ventilation to keep temperatures under control in dynamic use, ensuring stable braking performance consistent with the car’s extreme speed potential.
Bridgestone, Lamborghini’s long-standing technical partner, has developed bespoke Potenza Sport ultra-high-performance tires in 265/30 ZRF21 front and 355/25 ZRF22 rear sizes, including optional run-flat variants. A second, semi‑slick Bridgestone Potenza tire—still homologated for road use—has been created to unlock the Fenomeno Roadster’s full track potential, both fitments carrying unique Lamborghini markings on the sidewall.
CarBike 360 Says
The Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster joins a very exclusive bloodline of limited Lamborghini few‑off models that began with the Reventón in 2007 and its Roadster sibling in 2009. That lineage continued through the Veneno, Centenario and Sián, each with roadster variants that previewed styling, materials and technologies later seen on series‑production cars.
