Lamborghini is preparing to introduce the Urus SE Hybrid performance SUV to the Indian market as early as next month. This updated version of the popular SUV, Urus S, which made its global debut in April, features a hybrid powertrain and various styling enhancements. The Urus SE represents Lamborghini's second venture into hybrid technology, combining power and efficiency in a luxury SUV package.
The Urus SE boasts several visual updates, including:
• A redesigned bonnet with extended front
• New LED DRL signature and slimmer Matrix LED headlamps
• Revised front and rear bumpers for a sharper look
• Standard 21-inch wheels with options up to 23-inch
Inside, the SUV receives subtle revisions to the dashboard and AC vent design. A significant upgrade is the new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, borrowed from the Revuelto model, replacing the previous 10.1-inch display.
The heart of the Urus SE is its hybrid powertrain, which pairs a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a 25.9 kWh battery pack and an electric motor integrated into the 8-speed automatic transmission. This combination delivers an impressive 789 bhp and 950 Nm of torque, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 312 kmph.
Lamborghini claims the hybrid system reduces emissions by 80 percent and provides over 60 km of pure electric range. The Urus SE will join the existing Urus S and Urus Performante in the Indian line up, likely commanding a premium over the current range, which starts at ₹4.18 crore (ex-showroom).
