Mahindra has announced Rs. 2.05 lakh price reduction for its popular XUV700 AX7 range, now starting at ₹19.49 lakh (ex-showroom), down from ₹21.54 lakh. This celebratory pricing, valid for four months, coincides with the SUV's upcoming three-year anniversary. Mahindra aims to make the XUV700 AX7 more accessible to a broader range of buyers with this limited-time offer.
The company has also introduced two new color options for the XUV700 AX7: Deep Forest and Burnt Sienna, increasing the total number of available colors to nine. The six-seater version of the XUV700 AX7 with a petrol MT is now priced at ₹19.69 lakh, while the diesel variant is priced at ₹20.19 lakh. The petrol AT version is available for ₹21.19 lakh, and the diesel AT version is priced at ₹22.59 lakh.
The seven-seater versions of the XUV700 AX7 are ₹20,000 cheaper for each corresponding fuel and transmission type. The seven-seater AWD version, available only with a diesel AT, is now priced at ₹22.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The XUV700 AX7 L, a more luxurious variant, comes in six and seven-seater options with starting prices of ₹23.69 lakh, going up to ₹25 lakh.
The Mahindra XUV700 AX7, a more premium variant compared to the AX5, offers features such as ADAS Level 2, a panoramic sunroof, dual HD super screens, 3D audio with Sony speakers, and leatherette seats. While the XUV700 AX5 variants are more affordable, the AX7 provides more seating options and an enhanced feature list.
Despite the increased competition in the mid-size SUV segment, with rivals like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, and MG Hector, the XUV700 AX7 has consistently been improving Mahindra's market positioning and profit margin.
