Mahindra & Mahindra is planning to launch a facelift upgrade to its most popular mid-size SUV the Scorpio N in the Indian auto market. This will be the first makeover of the car since its launch in June 2022. The facelift version will retain the same silhouette of the Scorpio N, yet we can expect some mild upgrades from the automaker. The test mule is heavily camouflaged, hiding its subtle design elements; however, some noticeable changes can be seen, such as a more muscular and fresh design giving it a strong road presence.

Sightings have confirmed that the XUV700 facelift will launch in early 2026, while the Scorpio N facelift is expected to arrive in the second half of the year. The spy shots circulating on social media mostly showcase the exterior, while the complete cabin remains unseen. Sources indicate the facelift may feature:

  • Fully digital TFT display
  • Panoramic sunroof, uplifting the premium feel inside cabin
  • Harman Kardon audio system for enhanced sound quality
  • Powered seats with memory function

The facelift promises a cabin loaded with premium features and modern technology. Moreover, expanded ADAS technology is likely to enhance safety, with 6 airbags as standard.

Engine and Powertrain.

The Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is a mild upgrade, and an engine upgrade is not expected. It will come with the same 2.0L Turbo petrol and 2.2L Turbo Diesel engine options, coupled with a 6-speed manual or torque converter automatic gearbox, producing 203 PS and 370 Nm of torque, and 175 PS and 370 Nm of torque, respectively.
