Mahindra is set to unveil the highly anticipated XUV 3XO, a sub-compact SUV promising significant upgrades over its predecessor. With a redesigned exterior boasting LED lights and new alloy wheels, plus interior enhancements like a panoramic sunroof and advanced infotainment system, it aims to compete with rivals like the Hyundai Venue and Tata Nexon. While some features remain undisclosed, the expected engine options suggest improved performance.
Key Highlights:
As scheduled, Mahindra is all set to launch one of its most hyped sub-compact SUVs, the Mahindra XUV 3XO in India. The SUV has been making headlines for around a month. It is expected to be a major upgrade over the previous Mahindra XUV 300. Mahindra XUV 3XO is more than a facelift or just a cosmetic change which is apparent with some new feature additions. Once launched the compact SUV will rival other contenders in the Indian auto market such as Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. Are you curious to know more about the upcoming SUV? Check more details below.
Design changes are the major highlights of the new Mahindra XUV 3XO which is way more better than its predecessor. These design upgrades include a highly upgraded front fascia with a new grille paired with LED projector headlamps and LED daytime running lights. Talking about the side profile upgrades, there’s a new set of alloy wheels. Apart from this, the rear side gets new LED taillights. Another noticeable thing on the backside is a different tailgate which looks much better than the Mahindra XUV 3XO.
Mahindra XUV 3XO is arriving with some major upgrades on the feature front. There is a new bigger panoramic sunroof and a new freestanding infotainment system with a fully digital instrument cluster. Some newly introduced features on the subcompact SUV include AdrenoX technology which enables some smart features inside the cabin such as remote AC control. The feature list does not end here, the SUV also comes with a 7-speaker Harman Kardon music system, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, automatic climate control and new upholstery which might feel better than the Mahindra XUV 300.
However, it is noticeable that Mahindra is silent about some crucial features of the XUV 3XO. Some reports suggest that it will come with six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, an ADAS tech.
Although the company has not officially confirmed any details about the engine options, we expect that the SIUV will retain the previously available engine options including 1.2-litre turbo petrol, 1.2-litre TGDI unit and 1.5-litre diesel mill, all re-tuned to deliver better power and smooth performance. The new teaser released by the automaker also mentions that the 3XO will deliver an ARAI mileage of 20.1 kmpl.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO seems poised to make a significant impact in the sub-compact SUV market with its comprehensive upgrades. From the revamped design to the enhanced features and potentially improved engine options, it appears Mahindra is aiming to set a new standard in this segment. However, the silence on crucial features is a bit concerning, but overall, it's a promising offering in the highly competitive market.
