Mahindra's commitment to safety has been reaffirmed with the impressive Bharat NCAP (BNCAP) crash test results for its SUVs—XUV3XO, XUV400 EV, and Thar Roxx. Each of these two-row SUVs secured a 5-star safety rating for both adult and child occupant protection.
Mahindra XUV3XO
The Mahindra XUV3XO performed exceptionally, earning 5-star safety ratings across all variants in both adult and child safety categories. The SUV achieved 29.36 out of 32 points for Adult Occupant Protection and 43.0 out of 49 for Child Occupant Protection. The crash test evaluations included variants such as the XUV3XO AX7L and MX2.
Adult Occupant Protection: The XUV3XO scored 13.36 out of 16.0 points in the frontal deformable barrier test and achieved a perfect 16.0 out of 16.0 in the side movable deformable barrier test.
Child Occupant Protection: The SUV received a full dynamic score of 24 out of 24, showcasing robust safety features for both front and rear passengers.
Mahindra XUV400 EV
The XUV400 EV also secured 5-star ratings for all tested variants, underlining its strong safety credentials. It garnered 30.38 out of 32 points in Adult Occupant Protection and 43.0 out of 49 for Child Occupant Protection. The tested models included the XUV400 EV EC L and EL LH(O).
Adult Occupant Protection: The XUV400 EV mirrored the XUV3XO's results, with 13.36 out of 16.0 points on the frontal deformable barrier test and a flawless 16.0 out of 16.0 on the side barrier test.
Child Occupant Protection: Like its counterpart, the XUV400 EV achieved a perfect dynamic score of 24 out of 24, ensuring maximum protection for younger passengers.
Mahindra Thar Roxx
The Mahindra Thar Roxx stood out with top marks, obtaining a 5-star safety rating across all variants in both adult and child safety assessments. The vehicle scored 31.09 out of 32 points in
Adult Occupant Protection and 45.0 out of 49 in Child Occupant Protection. The tested versions included the Thar Roxx AX5L and MX3.
Adult Occupant Protection: Similar to the other models, the Thar Roxx recorded 13.36 out of 16.0 points in the frontal deformable barrier test and a full 16.0 out of 16.0 in the side barrier test.
Child Occupant Protection: The Thar Roxx also achieved a perfect dynamic score of 24 out of 24, confirming its comprehensive safety measures for child passengers.
