Mahindra is expected to expand its EV lineup in the upcoming years by including some more EVs in its portfolio. For the same the company has already registered the name of the upcoming EVs. From what the name has come forward as said to be trademarked, we can say Mahindra has taken its time to pick the names which are trendy, catchy and easy to remember by the customers.
7XO, 5XO, 3XO, and 1XO
Rather than selecting a completely different name, Mahindra has used the existing name in its list. The known trademarked names are the EV version names of XUV700, XUV500, XUV300 and SUV EV.

Expected range, battery specs
We can expect the Mahindra EVs to be based in INGLO architecture. With an expected battery range of 60 kWh to 80 kWh, the EVs can come equipped with single and dual-motor AWD options, as well as single electric motor. However detailed specs can not be claimed yet, until the company reveals so.

Expecting a range above 400-450 kms in XUV 7XO, 5XO, and 3XO and above 250 kms in XUV 1XO, is what the enthusiasts are looking for. Moreover, with more innovations and technical advancement in features Mahindra is expected to include higher and better and faster charging infra in the upcoming SUVs.

Expected features
From what is expected now is that the EV versions will have stylings similar to ICE and EV models of XUV 700, and XUV300. Moreover we can get almost the same features and equipment. However a better number of tech features can be expected from the upcoming EVs from Mahindra.
No wonder, Mahindra has already started working on the first-in-the-segment features for its upcoming EV models. Spy images of a test mule of XUV.e9 recently came to light, is one such example. So, to expect a new triple screen dash in upcoming trademarked SUVs, just like in the spotted XUV.e9, is not an exception.

CarBike360 Says
By expanding its EV portfolio with trademarked SUVs: XUV 7XO, 5XO, 3XO, 1XO, derived from existing models, Mahindra ensures to make its services accessible to every automotive enthusiast. This move from Mindra reflects its commitment to innovation in electric mobility.
