Maruti Suzuki's Fronx has proven to be a game-changer in the SUV segment, setting an industry record by becoming the fastest passenger vehicle to reach the 1 lakh sales milestone within just 10 months of its launch. The Fronx, unveiled globally at the Auto Expo 2023 and hitting the Indian market on April 24, 2023, has not only met but exceeded expectations, doubling Maruti Suzuki's market share in the SUV segment to 19.7% in CY2023 from 10.4% in 2022.
