Employee Engagement and Community Support

Maruti Suzuki employees contributed to healthcare, community support, education, and youth engagement. In the health and community care segment, employees joined four blood donation drives across offices and manufacturing facilities. Volunteers assembled wheelchairs from company-provided kits, which were distributed to shelter homes and care centers.
Additional support included providing food, medicines, dry rations, and toiletries to residents in need. Employees also participated in companionship programs with elderly and underprivileged individuals.
Education and Youth Outreach
The initiative placed strong emphasis on education and youth engagement, particularly for students from underprivileged backgrounds. Volunteers organized a visit for students to the company’s Manesar manufacturing facility, where students learned about large-scale manufacturing and interacted with employees. Volunteers also conducted art-based sessions and engagement programs for special-abled children. For visually impaired students, the team distributed Braille kits and held interactive learning sessions.
As part of the ‘Wish Tree’ activity, employees fulfilled requests from more than 300 students by providing school bags, stationery, learning materials, and toys. The program also supported school infrastructure. Volunteers painted over 1,400 square feet of wall space in government schools across Gurugram and Manesar as part of school beautification drives.
Corporate Social Responsibility Focus
Rahul Bharti, Senior Executive Officer, Corporate Affairs at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, stated that the initiative reflects the company’s approach to community engagement. Employees contributed both time and skills across different social areas. Maruti Suzuki’s broader corporate social responsibility framework focuses on road safety, skill development, and community development.
