After a long hiatus of waiting, India’s biggest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki, has finally revealed the official starting price of the all-new Maruti Suzuki eVitara. Maruti is introducing its first official electric car, featuring a BaaS (Battery as a Service) scheme. Moreover, the brand has not revealed the full prices of the car; through known dealership sources, the full prices of the eVitara have been confirmed, ranging from Rs 15.99 lakh to Rs 20.01 lakh.
Maruti’s first electric car will be available with the two battery pack options for Indian customers. The base variant will be provided with the 49 kWh battery configuration setup, while a 61 kWh battery pack will power the top-trim level. Talking about the trim variants, the car will be available with 3 different trim levels, such as Delta, Zeta, and the top-spec Alpha. The base entry level for the Maruti eVitara will be the Delta trim level. This trim will be equipped with a 49 kWh battery pack producing 144 HP of power with 193 Nm of peak torque. While the Zeta and the Alpha trim levels will be available with a 61 kWh battery pack. Let’s take a closer look at the specs these trims might offer.
This trim will be priced at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, with the rental fee of Rs 3.99 per km. Talking about the features, this car offers:
