Maruti Suzuki Extends Warranty Programs

Extended Standard Warranty

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has announced extended warranty programs, effective from July 9, 2024. The standard warranty has been extended from 2 years or 40,000 km to 3 years or 1,00,000 km, whichever comes first. This extension by Maruti Suzuki covers the engine, transmission, mechanical components, electrical, and air conditioning systems, excluding consumables. This assures customers of free repairs at any authorized Maruti Suzuki service centre throughout the warranty period.

New Extended Warranty Packages

Maruti Suzuki has also introduced an extended warranty option covering up to 6 years or 1,60,000 km. Customers can now choose from three extended warranty packages. The Platinum Package offers an extended warranty up to 4th year or 1,20,000 km, while the Royal Platinum Package extends the warranty up to the 5th year or 1,40,000 km. The Solitaire Package provides coverage up to the 6th year or 1,60,000 km. These packages offer extended protection, providing customers with greater flexibility and peace of mind.

Expanded Coverage for High-Value Parts

As a customer-friendly initiative, Maruti Suzuki has also expanded the extended warranty coverage of 11 high-value parts, which were previously limited to the duration of the standard warranty. This expansion ensures that customers have comprehensive protection for critical components over an extended period.
