The EQA 250+ SUV has been launched by Mercedes-Benz India, which is their most affordable electric car, starting from Rs 66 lakh (ex-showroom). This seamless GLA variant is all-electric and is supplied as Completely Built Units (CBU). The Mercedes EQA 250+ comes with a 3-year unlimited kilometers warranty, periodic maintenance and an extended warranty package starting at Rs 42,000.
A floor-mounted 70.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack drives the EQA 250+. It has a single electric motor up front that produces 385 Nm of torque and 188 bhp. The EV has a 560 km WLTP certified range. It supports both 11 kW AC and 100 kW DC charging. With a DC charger, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in 35 minutes. Mercedes claims to have a top speed of 160 km/h and an acceleration time of 8.6 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.
Although the EQA 250+ keeps the GLA's shape, it has distinctive design features including an LED light bar across the grille and a large grille with Mercedes' star pattern. The vehicle's aesthetic is further enhanced by the 19-inch alloy wheels designed specifically for EVs and the sleek LED taillights connected by an LED light bar at the back.
The EQA 250+ has dimensions of 4,463 mm in length, 1,834 mm in width, 1,624 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,729 mm. It comes in seven different colors including MANUFAKTUR Mountain Grey Magno, Cosmos Black, and Polar White.
On the inside you get two 10.25 inch displays, a panoramic roof and Burmester sound system. Advanced features include augmented reality navigation, wireless charging and over-the-air updates. Other features of the Mercedes EQA 250+ include ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, and MBUX Connect with gesture control.
