Mercedes-Benz Maybach EQS SUV Set For India Launch: Check Date

Mercedes-Benz India is set to introduce its flagship electric SUV, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS, to the Indian market on September 5. This luxury EV that debuted in China last year will join the Mercedes-Maybach GLS SUV in the brand's India line-up. The EQS Maybach SUV distinguishes itself from the standard EQS SUV with Maybach-specific design elements, features, and technological upgrades, catering to the ultra-luxury segment of electric vehicles.

Key features of the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV include:

• Maybach-specific exterior design with chrome highlights and logos
• Exclusive interior upgrades and Maybach-themed graphics
• Top-spec EQS 680 variant with 4Matic AWD technology

The exterior of the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV boasts a distinctive black panel at the front, housing radar sensors for ADAS, adorned with vertical chrome strips for a 3D effect. Chrome accents extend to the window line and B-pillar, with additional Maybach branding on the D-pillar. The vehicle rides on 21- or 22-inch alloy and forged wheels, complemented by illuminated running boards in anodized aluminium.

The Maybach EQS SUV features a dashboard similar to the standard EQS SUV, with three screens displaying Maybach-specific graphics. The rear passengers are treated to two 11.6-inch displays on the front seatbacks and an MBUX tablet for enhanced entertainment options.

India will receive the top-spec 680 variant of the Maybach EQS SUV, offering impressive performance figures:

• Maximum output: 658hp and 950Nm
• WLTP range: Up to 600km
• 0-100kph acceleration: 4.4 seconds
• Top speed: 210kph
