Mini India has officially started the pre-launch bookings for the eagerly awaited Mini Cooper Convertible for the 2025 edition. The car is ready to be debuted in December 2025. The iconic British brand offers a perfect blend of style, technology, and performance on Indian roads. Prospective buyers can now secure the convertible via Mini’s website or from authorized dealerships across the country.

The 2025 iteration of the all-new Mini Cooper Convertible promises to deliver an exhilarating open-air driving experience with its electrically operated soft-top roof that opens or closes in just 18 seconds and is operable at speeds of up to 30 kmph. Booking Details and Availability

According to the brand’s exclusive information, bookings for the Mini Cooper Convertible commenced on November 19, 2025, and customers can place their reservations either online through Mini’s official website or directly at any of the authorized dealerships.

To meet demand throughout India, Mini has opened ten dealerships in key cities such as Delhi, Gurugram, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Kolkata. The booking amount has not been officially disclosed yet.

Design and Features

Talking about the design, the Convertible features the classic octagonal grille and iconic circular headlights integrated by circular LED DRLs with a blacked-off center trim that preserves its unique brand identity. The overall design has the same proportion as its hardtop variant but now comes with an electrically operated roof. The vehicle is equipped with 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and black cladding.

While getting behind the wheel, we can see a 9.4-inch OLED touchscreen infotainment system that offers Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The dashboard incorporates sustainable materials, reflecting Mini’s commitment to eco-conscious luxury. Key highlights include powered front seats, ambient lighting, wireless charging, automatic climate control, a premium Harman Kardon audio system, and a head-up display for enhanced driver convenience and safety.

Mini Cooper Convertible: Powertrain & Performance

Based on the Cooper S hatchback, the Convertible is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine producing approximately 204 HP of power and 300 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox that enables the car to reach 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.9 seconds.

Pricing and Market Positioning

The Mini Cooper Convertible is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 48 lakh to Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
