The Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack will be available in limited numbers as a completely built unit (CBU).
Key Highlights
- MINI launches Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack in India at Rs 61.50 lakh ex showroom
- JCW Pack offers exclusive styling upgrades but no mechanical changes over standard convertible
- Powered by 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine with 204 HP and 300 Nm torque
- Limited units available as completely built units with deliveries underway
Key Features and Styling Updates
The JCW Pack focuses on styling enhancements rather than mechanical changes. On the exterior, it offers exclusive paint options such as Midnight Black and Legend Grey. The Legend Grey variant features contrasting bonnet stripes. Several exterior elements, including the grille, mirror caps, door handles, and body cladding, receive a gloss-black finish for a sportier look.
The car is equipped with 17-inch JCW alloy wheels and sportier brakes that feature JCW branding. A black fabric soft-top roof further distinguishes the model. Inside, the cabin continues the dark theme with black upholstery and dashboard trim. JCW-specific sport seats and a dedicated steering wheel enhance the sporty feel. Red accents on the headrests and dashboard add visual contrast.
Equipment and Performance Details
The feature list remains unchanged compared to the standard convertible. Key equipment includes a circular 9.4-inch OLED infotainment system, a head-up display, connected car technology, wireless charging, smartphone connectivity, and a Harman Kardon sound system.
Mechanically, there are no changes in the JCW Pack variant. The car uses the same 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine as the standard model. This engine produces 204 HP and 300 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that drives the front wheels.
Performance figures are identical to the standard convertible. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/hr in a claimed 6.9 seconds and has a top speed of 237 km/hr. The JCW Pack does not offer any mechanical upgrades over the standard model.
Availability and Deliveries
Deliveries for the MINI Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack have already begun in India. The new variant aims to offer a more distinctive visual appeal for buyers seeking unique styling, while retaining the same performance as the standard convertible.
