Nissan Magnite Gets Massive Price Cut of up to Rs 1 Lakh: 5-Star GNCAP B-SUV Now Most Affordable in India
Nissan Magnite becomes India’s safest and most affordable B-SUV, with prices dropping up to Rs 1 lakh post-GST revision. Top-end and special edition variants now offer a compelling value with segment-best features.

Nissan Motor India has welcomed the new GST tax regime announced by the Indian government, stating that the brand will revise prices resulting from the implementation of GST 2.0. However, the Japanese auto giant has announced that they have made changes in the pricing of their best-selling car, the Nissan Magnite. The car passes on the full GST benefits directly to customers.
This move promises a significant boost in consumer confidence ahead of the festive season. With entry-level and premium Magnite variants now priced sharply lower to capture new market momentum. With the implementation of the new GST tax reforms, the Nissan Magnite, a 5-star GNCAP-rated subcompact SUV, might be the most affordable B-SUV to buy in India.
GST Advantage Drives Festive Affordability
The new GST rate cut from 28%+1% cess to 18% is central to Nissan's bold pricing strategy for the Magnite range. All Magnite variants, including the base Visia MT, are now available for less than Rs 6 lakh, while the Nissan mid-level N-Connecta CVT and KURO CVT special editions are now priced below Rs 10 lakh. As per the report, Nissan Motor India will ensure that the full advantage of this reduction is passed on to our customers.
From The Director’s Desk
Speaking about the latest price revealed after the GST rate cuts, Mr. Saurabh Vasta, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said, “This GST reduction is a timely stimulus for the automotive industry and a direct win for our customers. At Nissan, we are committed to passing on the entire advantage of this policy.”
He later added, “As the festive season is approaching, a traditionally vibrant period for the market, we anticipate this measure that will boost customer spirit and self-esteem to sustain the drive momentum in the automotive landscape.”
