Ola Gen 3 scooter price

Ola Electric just rolled out its third-generation electric scooters in India—the S1 Gen 3 lineup—and they’re packing some serious upgrades. Starting at ₹79,999, the entry-level S1 X comes with a 2 kWh battery, while the premium S1 Pro+ tops the range at ₹1,69,999, comes with a massive 5.3 kWh battery that delivers a 320 km range and a top speed of 141 km/h.

What’s new under the hood? Ola removed the old hub motors for a sleeker mid-drive motor paired with an integrated Motor Control Unit (MCU), making the scooters lighter, more efficient, and way more reliable.

You’ve got options here: the S1 X offers 2, 3, or 4 kWh batteries, the S1 X+ sticks with a 4 kWh pack, and the S1 Pro comes in 3 or 4 kWh variants. The Pro+ is the star, though, with that 5.3 kWh powerhouse. Tech-wise, these scooters run on Ola’s fresh MoveOS 5 software and feature dual-channel ABS, brake-by-wire tech for smoother stops, and a chain drive system. The design stays minimal—think clean lines, a simple rectangular headlamp, and a range of colors to pick from.

Ola claims the new platform cuts manufacturing costs by about 20% and boosts energy efficiency by 10%, which could mean savings for buyers. Launched on January 31, 2025, deliveries kick off in mid-February. With sharper performance, smarter features, and a focus on design, Ola’s clearly aiming to shake up India’s EV scene. Whether you’re eyeing affordability or top-tier specs, there’s a Gen 3 scooter here to match your vibe.
