At the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, Porsche introduced the 911 Spirit 70, a special-edition convertible that takes inspiration from the design aesthetic of Porsche sports cars from the 1970s and early 1980s. The Porsche 911 Spirit 70 is showcased as a tribute to the 1970s era, and to celebrate this journey, Porsche has announced that it will keep the production of the 911 Spirit 70 at 1,500 units only.

Porsche 911 Spirit 70 Powertrain
Based on the current Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet, the new 911 Spirit 70 is paired with a new performance hybrid setup featuring a 3.6-liter boxer engine combined with eTurbo, an electric motor in the PDK transmission, and a high-voltage system. The combined power delivery of this Porsche limited-run sports car is 534 bhp and 610 Nm of torque. While this luxury sports car manufacturer has offered a hybrid powertrain, it primarily aims to revisit the era of the 1970s.
Porsche 911 Spirit 70 Exclusive Exterior Detailing
The sports car sports Olive Neo paintwork, a custom dark green color scheme created specifically for this model. A Bronzite, a grey-gold tone, has been applied to the front and rear sections, and 'Fuchs'-inspired Sport Classic wheels further elevate the exterior of this exclusive series model. Additionally, it packs a soft black top and matching windscreen frame to add visual contrast.
The three black silk-gloss strips span along the bonnet and roof, major details inspired by 1970s safety stickers to make the sports car more visible at high speed. The graphics include Porsche lettering, a black roundel, and optional individual numbers that emphasize Porsche's rich racing heritage. The bonnet is identical to versions from 1963 and features prior-inspired elements, such as gold-colored and heritage badges on the rear grille.
Porsche 911 Spirit 70 Interior Specifications
The cabin boasts a vintage aesthetic, highlighted by a Pasha fabric pattern in Black and Olive Green. This design is featured on the seat centers, door inserts, glove compartments, and reversible boot mats. An optional upgrade allows the pattern to be carried over to the dashboard trim and seat backs.
The interior is adorned with basalt black club leather, complemented by stitching in Olive Neo. Additionally, the instrumentation reflects the retro theme, with a 12.65-inch display featuring white pointers and a rev counter layout reminiscent of early Porsche sports cars.
