Renault is developing the next-generation Duster and the SUV based on the Bigster concept. According to reports, the Indian market will also see the introduction of the new Duster, and development of the new Duster SUV has already begun at Dacia, a subsidiary of Renault. In 2024, the new model is anticipated to debut.
According to the reports, a 3-row SUV based on the Dacia Bigster concept will go on sale by 2025. The Renault-Nissan alliance's CMF-B platform, which also supports the Renault Clio, Captur, Arkana, Nissan Juke, and the new Nissan Note, will serve as the foundation for the new Duster and Bigster SUVs' design and development.

Next-Gen Renault Duster Platform

The next-generation Renault Duster for India is apparently going to be based on the low-spec CMF-B LS platform, which is fascinating. Currently, this platform supports subcompact or B-segment budget cars. The BO and MO platforms, which supported the previous Duster, are replaced by this one. The Logan, Sandero, Taliant, and Jogger are among the Dacia vehicles now supported by the new CMF-B LS platform.
The upcoming Renault Duster is anticipated to be a scaled-down version of the Bigster SUV, which was initially displayed in the concept form. Bigster, a 7-seat SUV that is ready for production, is anticipated to debut in Brazil in 2024 or 2025. The CMF-B platform, which is adaptable enough to support several body types and engine alternatives like hybrid and electric, will serve as the foundation for the Bigster SUV. According to Renault executives, the third-generation Duster will be the best vehicle ever manufactured and the first to use a hybrid drivetrain.
Next-Gen Renault Duster Engine and Performance

The Bigster concept car's design characteristics will be carried over to the 2018 Renault Duster. It is asserted to provide various cutting-edge technology and a high price-to-feature ratio. According to European media, the new vehicle will have a 44 drivetrain and a hybrid powertrain. The front wheels will be powered by a petrol engine, while the rear wheels will be traction-powered by an electric motor attached to the axle. A 1.2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with a 48V hybrid system that produces 130 horsepower in total may be installed in the new Duster. The SUV might possibly come with a 1.3-liter turbocharged petrol engine.
Next-Gen Renault Duster Rivals

According to Renault Ground, the 2017 Dacia Bigster SUV will be the first to sport the company's new logo. A trademark application for the new logo design, which boasts a minimalist font, has also been made by Dacia. On next models of the Dacia, the new badge will be visible. According to reports, the new Dacia Bigster will compete with vehicles like the Skoda Karoq and Volkswagen Tiguan. The SUV will, however, be an indirect competitor to larger SUVs like the Skoda Kodiaq due to its size.
