What’s new in the design language?

Exterior Design

The upcoming Renault Kiger will receive notable styling tweaks and embedded features to give a more premium look. From the teaser released, we see the most noticeable changes at the front. Even when the spy shots were revealed, there were more changes present at the front. With new updates, the front fascia of the car now gets a bolder grille with a gloss black finish, sleeker LED headlamps and a redesigned bumper with sportier elements.

While the overall silhouette will remain familiar. Even the side profile of the car will be similar to the current model, with unchanged metal panels. However, this new model will get all-new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Additional updates are the introduction of a shark-fin antenna, black mirror caps, and LED taillights. Renault is also likely to introduce new dual-tone color combinations to attract younger, style-driven buyers.

Premium Interior Upgrades

Stepping inside the car, you will notice that the setup and configuration are the same as the current model, but the technology and features have been upgraded. The cabin may get an all-new layout with improved ergonomic controls. The dashboard boasts an 8-inch infotainment system that comes with a brighter display and sharper graphics. The brand introduces the first-in-segment frameless auto-dimming mirror with illuminated window switches and premium upholstery.

In line with the growing competitive market and increasing industry trends, the Kiger may also offer some essential features, such as a wireless charging pad, front ventilated seats, and adaptive cruise control. For safety, the Renault Kiger offers 6 airbags and ISOFIX mounts now as standard across all models. Furthermore, the car will be integrated with a 360-degree camera, ABS, and hill assist control.

Renault Kiger Facelift: Engine Specs

There will be no mechanical changes under the hood. The upcoming Renault Kiger will be powered by a 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine, capable of producing 72 HP and 96 Nm of maximum torque. This engine will be paired with a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT as an additional option for customers.

There will be another engine option, which might be available for the higher trim variant. The 1.0L turbo petrol engine generates 100 HP and 160 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 5-speed MT and an X-tronic CVT configuration setup. If possible, the brand will also introduce a CNG option to cater to every consumer's preferences.

Conclusion

The Renault Kiger facelift is just a revamped version of the current model. With upgraded infotainment hardware and exterior changes, the brand signifies its determination to stay ahead in the competitive market. The upcoming 2025 Renault Kiger could carve out a strong contender for itself for the consumer who wishes to buy a stylish SUV at a reasonable price.
