Royal Enfield Bullet 650 launched in India at Rs 3.65 lakh
Royal Enfield has introduced the much-awaited Bullet 650 in India, combining its timeless design with a powerful twin-cylinder engine, making it a strong contender in the mid-size cruiser segment.

Royal Enfield has launched the Bullet 650 in India, expanding its 650cc motorcycle lineup. The new model is priced at Rs 3.65 lakh, matching the lower two color options of the Classic 650 Twin, Bruntingthorpe Blue, and Vallam Red. The Bullet 650 is more affordable than the Teal and Chrome variants of the Classic 650. This addition brings the total number of Royal Enfield’s parallel-twin models to seven.
Key Highlights
- Royal Enfield Bullet 650 launched in India at Rs 3.65 lakh
- Shares engine and many components with the Classic 650 Twin
- Features a single-piece stepped seat for improved pillion comfort
- Offered in Canon Black and Battleship Blue colour options
Key Features and Design

The 2026 Royal Enfield Bullet 650 shares many components with the Classic 650 Twin. Both models feature a chrome headlight hood and taillight. The Bullet 650, however, stands out with hand-painted pinstripes on the fuel tank, metal tank badging, and a more squared-off rear fender. These stylistic differences distinguish it from the Classic 650 Twin.
A significant change is the Bullet 650’s seating arrangement. Unlike the Classic 650’s removable pillion seat, the Bullet 650 uses a single-piece stepped seat. This design is expected to provide improved comfort for pillion riders.
The motorcycle retains the digital-analogue instrument cluster from the Classic 650. It includes a small digital display for the fuel gauge and odometer. The polished aluminum switchgear is also carried over from the Classic 650.
Engine and Mechanical Details
The Bullet 650 uses the same 648cc parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled engine as its siblings. This engine delivers 47 HP and 52 Nm of torque and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. Suspension is managed by a Showa telescopic fork at the front with 120mm of travel and twin shock absorbers at the rear offering 90mm of travel.
Royal Enfield offers the Bullet 650 in a single variant with two color choices: Canon Black and Battleship Blue. At Rs 3.65 lakh, it is Rs 14,000 less expensive than the top-spec Chrome variant of the Classic 650. This makes the Bullet 650 the most affordable model based on Royal Enfield’s long-wheelbase 650 platform.
Position in Royal Enfield’s Lineup
The 650 platform also supports other models like the Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650, and Classic 650 Twin. The Bullet 650’s introduction strengthens Royal Enfield’s presence in the mid-capacity motorcycle segment. Its combination of classic styling and practical features aims to appeal to a broad range of riders.
