The Flying Flea C6 features a 3.91kWh battery pack, offering a claimed IDC range of 154km. The battery powers a permanent magnet synchronous motor that delivers a peak output of 15.4kW and 60Nm of torque. The motor and battery are housed in a single piece, with the battery’s magnesium-finished fins aiding cooling. Power reaches the rear wheel via a belt drive.

Flying Flea claims the C6 can accelerate from 0 to 60kph in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 115kph. Charging from 0 to 100 percent takes 2 hours and 16 minutes, while a 20 to 80 percent charge takes 1 hour and 5 minutes. Riders can select charging speed through a mobile app, which also provides access to other functions.

Design, Features, and Pricing Context

Royal Enfield designed the Flying Flea C6 to be lightweight and slim, aiming for lower rolling resistance and longer range. The bike uses 90-section tyres on 19-inch rims at both ends and weighs 124kg. The seat height is 823mm, and ground clearance is 207mm, similar to adventure bikes. A 3.5-inch circular colour TFT display with new switchgear provides all rider information. Features include adjustable regenerative braking, five riding modes (City, Rain, Highway, Sport, and Custom), lean-sensitive traction control, and dual-channel ABS with rear switch-off capability.

At Rs 2.79 lakh, the Flying Flea C6 is priced higher than all 350cc Royal Enfield motorcycles and the Guerrilla 450. In the electric motorcycle segment, the Ultraviolette F77 and X47 with smaller battery packs are similarly priced. However, the C6 stands out due to its unique features, use of aluminium and magnesium, and niche positioning. The company targets premium EV buyers seeking a distinctive product.
