The 2026 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 update introduces new variants and features, aiming to attract younger urban riders. The Hunter 350 has helped Royal Enfield reach a broader audience beyond its traditional heritage market. The latest update focuses on new colours and variant options, not major mechanical changes.
Key Highlights
- Royal Enfield Hunter 350 2026 update introduces new colours and four variants
- Base Premium variant adds Tarmac Black and practical features like Type-C charging
- 349cc engine delivers 20.2bhp and 27Nm torque for city-focused performance
- Top and Mid variants offer dual-channel ABS LED headlamp and Tripper navigation pod
Expanded Variants and Colour Options
Royal Enfield now offers the Hunter 350 in four variants: Base, Base Premium, Mid, and Top. The new Base Premium variant comes in Tarmac Black, while Mumbai Yellow and Moonshot White are added to the Top trim. Other colour options include Factory Black, Dapper Grey, Rio White, Graphite Grey, London Red, Rebel Blue, and Tokyo Black. This expanded palette gives buyers more choice and allows for greater personal expression.
The new variants help Royal Enfield maintain a clear hierarchy without confusing customers. The Base Premium variant features alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, a slip and assist clutch, a stitched seat, single-channel ABS, a digital cluster with main LCD, and a Type-C port for mobile charging. The Mid and Top variants add dual-channel ABS, an LED headlamp, a digital-analogue cluster with a Tripper pod, and wider tyres. These features allow buyers to select a model that matches their needs and budget.
Engine and Urban-Focused Design
The Hunter 350 continues to use a 349cc single-cylinder air-oil cooled engine. It produces 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and 27Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch, designed for smooth performance in city traffic and occasional highway use.
The chassis supports urban riding with a 1,370mm wheelbase, 160mm ground clearance, and a 790mm seat height. The Top and Mid variants have a kerb weight of 181kg, while the Base Premium is slightly lighter at 177kg. This compact size makes the Hunter 350 easy to handle in city environments but still substantial enough for stability.
Practical Features and Rider Comfort

Recent updates to the Hunter 350 include practical features such as Type-C fast charging, an LED headlight on higher variants, and a Tripper pod for navigation. Improved suspension and seat cushioning enhance rider comfort for daily use. These additions aim to reduce everyday friction points and improve the overall ownership experience.
The Hunter 350 reflects Royal Enfield's adaptability. It combines a familiar single-cylinder engine, straightforward chassis, and a focus on usability. The 2026 update broadens its appeal, making it suitable for young, style-conscious riders who value both performance and personalisation.
