The facelifted Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe-SUV have been unveiled by Skoda, featuring quite a few updates in both design and driving performance. The global debut of these vehicles was on January 8, 2025, in line with the commitment of Skoda towards increasing its electric vehicle portfolio. Facelift introduces Skoda's Modern Solid design language, striding for a sturdy and contemporary aesthetic with better aerodynamics and driving range.

The facelift brought a huge change to the front, wherein the bonnet features a big 'SKODA' lettering in the place where the traditional logo used to go. The new split LED headlamps augment daytime running lights with four-segmented LEDs. The four-segmented LEDs are connected by 23 individual LEDs implanted in the sleek gloss-black panel. This has increased style and functioning along with housing the front camera.
The rear of the Enyaq SUV has also received updates, from freshened C-shaped tail-lights preserving the modern look line. The coupe variant is identical in change, with its sloping rear silhouette and body-colored side skirts. Both the models are available with alloy wheels ranging from 19 to 21 inches.
Aerodynamic efficiency is of prime focus for this facelift with drag coefficients dropping from 0.264 for the Enyaq SUV to 0.245 for the coupe variant (which is even lower with 0.225 down from 0.234). This provides not only better performance but also improvement in energy efficiency.
Inside, the Enyaq impresses, with a broad and tech-savvy cabin. The steering wheel is emblazoned with bold 'SKODA' lettering, and the central 13-inch infotainment display is the hub for entertainment and navigation functions. Standard is a digital driver's display of 5 inches, which conveys the basics concerning driving; heads-up display is exclusive to those who want it.
Comfort rule the roost in the Enyaq, with features like a panoramic sunroof, powered-adjustable seats, heated front seats, and three-zone climate control to enhance passenger experience. Skoda has made improvements in developing natural materials for seat upholstery, which is in tune with what modern consumers expect from environmentally sound products.
In terms of practicality, the Enyaq SUV offers impressive luggage capacity, extending from 585 liters to 1,710 liters, with the seats folded down. The coupe variant has less space, but with a cargo capacity of 570 liters, it is not far behind; this extends to 1,610 liters when the seats are dropped.
The Enyaq models signify a significant leap in battery technology development by Skoda. The SUV is bought with two battery sizes, namely 59 kWh and 77 kWh. WLTP says that the now-dead Enyaq 85 was giving about 562 km of range from one charge; the new version gives even better numbers, peaking up to 588 km.
The Enyaq Coupe-SUV is also benefiting from this line of enhancement, with a range boost from 570 km to 597 km. Those with the non-mega-pack will see the same SUV range dropping to 431 km; the coupe has better performance, showing 439 km.
The Skoda Enyaq facelift opens the next chapter in Skoda's electric vehicle planning, with emphasis not only on improved design but also better performance and sustainable features. With a much evolved design language, technologically advanced integration, and enhanced range in driving, the Enyaq SUV and Coupe-SUV are set to draw eyes in this burgeoning electric vehicle market.
As Skoda hints toward further action in India-inclusiveness in events like the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, due to be held January 17-22-the excitement grows on how these reliable and chic electric vehicles would be welcomed by consumers.
